Addiction does not have to be the end of the story.

Every day at Restoring Women Outreach, women choose recovery, healing, and hope. We provide safe housing, recovery support, life skills training, and encouragement as women rebuild their lives.

Because every woman deserves the opportunity to become who she was created to be.

When a Mother Heals, a Child Thrives ❤️

At Restoring Women Outreach, recovery is about more than one life—it impacts entire families.

When a mother finds healing, her children gain stability, hope, and the chance for a brighter future. They experience safer homes, stronger relationships, and opportunities that help break the cycle of addiction for generations to come.

In 2025, 252 children were impacted through the restoration of their mothers.

Every woman who chooses recovery creates a ripple effect that reaches far beyond herself.

Thank you to everyone who supports our mission of restoring women and rebuilding families.

❤️ When a mom heals, a child thrives. When a child thrives, our community thrives.

What a blessing this group of young adults from St. John’s Church was to Restoring Women Outreach yesterday!
They worked hard at two different locations, and I have a feeling there may be a few sore muscles and a little sunburn this morning. 💪😊
Groups like this do so much more than help us check tasks off our to-do list. They encourage us, inspire us, and remind us why this work matters. They ask thoughtful questions, want to understand the impact being made, and genuinely desire to be involved—not just for a day, but for the long haul.
We are incredibly grateful for their willingness to serve and invest in our community. Seeing young adults with hearts for service gives us great hope for the future. Thank you for spending your day with us and helping make a difference in the lives of the women and children we serve!

This picture says so much about recovery. ❤️

“If at first you don’t succeed, try doing what Kim told you to do the first time.” 😂

Funny? Absolutely. But anyone who has worked a 12-Step program knows there’s a little truth hidden in the humor.

Recovery is often learning to stop doing things our way and start listening to the people who have already walked the road before us. Sponsors, mentors, staff, volunteers, and women with years of sobriety don’t share their experience because they want to control us—they share it because they remember exactly where we were.

The 12 Steps teach us that we don’t recover alone. We recover by being willing to listen, willing to learn, and willing to take suggestions.

Today, this smile is proof that hope works. Recovery works. And sometimes… Kim was right all along. 😉

One woman sharing her experience. Another woman finding hope. That’s how recovery continues—one day, one step, and one life at a time. ❤️

Cara Delevingne’s story is a powerful reminder that addiction can take someone to a place where they feel completely lost, isolated, and disconnected from who they truly are.

But her story doesn’t end there.

After opening up about the depths of her struggles, Cara is now over 4 years sober — and that matters.

Because sobriety isn’t just about removing substances.

It’s about coming back to yourself.
It’s about choosing life when your mind tells you there’s no way forward.
It’s about telling the truth: “I have a problem.”
And then having the courage to build something new from that honesty.

There is so much strength in the moment someone decides they don’t want to disappear anymore.

Cara’s journey is proof that recovery is possible. Healing is possible. A new chapter is possible.

No matter how dark it gets, your story can still change.

And sometimes the most powerful comeback starts with one honest sentence:

“I need help.”

If you’re sober today, trying today, or even just thinking about making a change — that matters. Keep going. 🤍

A beautiful day for healing and growth! 💜

Today, Kim Tidwell took some of our ladies to the park as part of their therapy and wellness activities. They enjoyed a walk together, fresh air, sunshine, and meaningful conversation.

Recovery is about so much more than overcoming addiction—it’s about rebuilding healthy habits, finding joy in simple moments, and learning to care for mind, body, and spirit.

Thank you, Kim, for investing in the women of Restoring Women Outreach and helping them take steps toward a brighter future, one walk at a time. 💜
