π Employee Spotlight: Meet Zoe! π
At Community-STARs, we're grateful for team members who bring both passion and purpose to the work they do every day. π
For Zoe, becoming an Occupational Therapist was inspired by watching her younger brother with Down syndrome benefit from OT, PT, and speech therapy. Seeing the amazing progress he made sparked a desire to help other children achieve meaningful milestones of their own.
One of Zoe's favorite parts of pediatric therapy is celebrating those exciting moments when a child accomplishes something they have never done before. Whether it looks like playing games, creating obstacle courses, or swinging, every activity in pediatric OT is designed with a therapeutic purpose and tailored to each child's unique goals.
Some of her favorite successes are hearing parents share that their child is now doing something independently at home, especially important daily living skills like using utensils or getting dressed. π₯πβ¨
Since joining Community-STARs, Zoe says she has grown more confident in her abilities as an occupational therapist and appreciates the close-knit, supportive environment that makes our team feel like family.
When asked to describe our culture in one word, her answer was simple:
π Caring
Thank you, Zoe, for the compassion, dedication, and encouragement you bring to the children and families we serve every day!
