Westside Family Health Center

Westside Family Health Center They helped women learn more about their bodies and their health, shared experiences and empowered them through knowledge. Government.

By providing direct care services that dignify and encourage client involvement in decision-making about health care, WFHC is cultivating a new generation of women and families that have the knowledge and resources to make healthy decisions. In 1974, a small group of dedicated community leaders and health care providers came together and started the Women’s Health Care Project as part of a larger

social justice movement in Santa Monica, California. What is now Westside Family Health Center expanded to include prenatal care, pediatric services, adolescent health care and a family practice program that includes a strong healthy aging component. For 47 years we have been an integral part of the Westside community, serving low-income men, women, children, and the uninsured population. Last year, in 2019, we saw 12,905 patients in 31,299 visits. 🎒✨ Helping students start the school year with confidence!
Westside Family Health Center is grateful to the Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation for their generous donation supporting our young patients and families.
Their support will help provide students with essential school supplies, including notebooks, folders, colored pencils, crayons, and more, along with personal care items like shampoo, deodorant, socks, and combs.
For 24 years, the Ella Fitzgerald Charitable Foundation has partnered with WFHC to strengthen our community and support the needs of the families we serve. We are thankful for partners who understand that health and well-being extend beyond the exam room.
Together, we are helping children feel prepared, supported, and ready for the year ahead. 💙

Thank you as well to our volunteers who have helped us prepare these giveaways for our patients and families!

A healthy community starts with access to the essentials.
Westside Family Health Center is grateful to Dr. Bronner’s for their generous donation of toothpaste, soap, and lip balm to support the patients and families we serve. These everyday essentials help promote health, hygiene, and dignity while providing additional support beyond the care our patients receive inside the clinic.
We are thankful for partners who understand that whole-person care means supporting the needs that impact health in every part of life.
Thank you, Dr. Bronner’s, for helping us continue our mission to advance health equity and create healthier communities together. Dr. Bronner's

Access to oral health starts with the basics. 🦷✨🪥
Thank you, Boka, for donating toothpaste sachets to Westside Family Health Center. This generous gift helps remove barriers to preventive care by putting oral hygiene products directly into the hands of patients and families across our community.
Together, we are building healthier smiles, supporting whole-person care, and making sure every patient has the resources they need to thrive.

We were honored to welcome Mayor Freddy Puza to Westside Family Health Center.⭐
During his visit, Mayor Puza toured our clinic, learned more about the communities we serve, and met with our team to discuss ways the City of Culver City can continue supporting access to quality health care for all.
Health equity is built through collaboration. We are grateful for leaders who take the time to listen, connect, and learn about the work happening in our community. We look forward to continuing to strengthen partnerships that help ensure everyone has access to the care they need.

Community stands strongest when we care for one another.✊
WFHC was honored to support our partners at Univision by donating essential supplies for families impacted by the earthquake in Venezuela. From hygiene products to diapers and mobility equipment, every item represents our commitment to health, dignity, and compassion.
Thank you to Univision for bringing our community together to support families during this time of need. When organizations work together, we can extend care far beyond our clinic walls.
