Meet Emily Rogers, our MDS Coordinator at Miller’s Culver!

Emily has been part of the Miller’s family for 14 years, with 10 years at our Plymouth location and the past 4 years in Culver. As an MDS Coordinator, she reviews and organizes residents’ clinical information and works closely with the care team to ensure each resident’s needs are accurately reflected in their care plan.

Emily has been a registered nurse for 19 years and began her healthcare career at Miller’s, working her way up to ADON before gaining experience in hospital care management. She has since expanded her expertise in diagnosis coding, level of care assessments, and MDS coordination.

Outside of work, Emily has been married for 20 years and has two teenage daughters. Her family also enjoys hosting foreign exchange students, and they are currently welcoming their sixth student from abroad.

We are so blessed to have Emily on our team! Her knowledge, dedication, and commitment to our residents make her an incredible asset to Miller’s Culver.

Today, we're proud to recognize Samantha Risner, our amazing In-Service Director! Samantha has served in this role for the past two years and has been a dedicated member of the Miller's team for 11 years.

Whether she's leading engaging training sessions or supporting our staff, Samantha is committed to helping our team grow and succeed so we can continue providing exceptional care to our residents.

When she's not at work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors.

Our residents have had a wonderful month celebrating America's 250th birthday! We couldn't contain our patriotic spirit to just one day, so we've enjoyed a month filled with patriotic activities.

One of our favorite events was this month's Cooking Club, where we decorated delicious patriotic sugar cookies!

We hope you were able to celebrate the Fourth of July all month long, too!
