We are so happy to see that the federal government FINALLY seems to be taking Lyme Disease seriously. The Department of Health and Human services announced a new public-private collaboration with The International Lyme and Associated Diseases society (ILADS). We hope this indicates a more open-minded approach regarding chronically ill patients who suffer from tick-borne diseases and who are frustrated by the lack of empathy and understanding from the conservative, conventional medical community. Thank you ILADS!
