Think Botox is just for wrinkles? Think again. 👀

Botox (or other neurotoxins) can do a lot more than soften fine lines. One of the most common medical uses is treating overactive masseter muscles—the powerful jaw muscles responsible for clenching and grinding.

If you deal with:
✔️ TMJ discomfort
✔️ Teeth grinding (bruxism)
✔️ Jaw tension
✔️ Tension headaches or migraines related to muscle clenching

…masseter Botox may be worth discussing with one of our providers.

By relaxing these overworked muscles, many patients experience less jaw pain, fewer headaches, and reduced nighttime grinding. As an added bonus, some people also notice a slimmer jawline over time—but symptom relief is always the primary goal.

Because we’re a medical clinic, treatment for TMJ may qualify for HSA/FSA funds. We can also provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance, allowing eligible expenses to count toward your out-of-pocket maximum. Coverage varies by plan, but we’re happy to help you navigate the process.
