This weekend was one of the most impactful weekends of our lives.
My husband and I went to what we thought was a sales and leadership event, but it turned into so much more than that. It became a wake-up call.
We spent the weekend surrounded by people pursuing excellence in every area of life: business, marriage, leadership, discipline, health, mindset, and faith. The kind of people who refuse to settle for average and are fully committed to becoming who God created them to be.
The event ended with a pastor praying over hundreds of entrepreneurs, and the next day, dozens were getting baptized in the ocean.
I still can’t fully explain what shifted in us, but on the drive home I looked at Josh and said, “We found our people.”
It also made us realize something:
We’ve spent so much time trying to be “professional” that we’ve probably hidden one of the most important parts of who we are accidentally.
We love Jesus.
And we want that to be evident in the way we lead, serve, love people, build our business, raise our kids, take care of our bodies, and show up in this world.
Not in a performative way.
Not in a pushy way.
Just in a real way.
Because the truth is, excellence without God still leaves people empty.
This weekend reminded us that you don’t have to choose between ambition and faith, leadership and surrender, business and purpose.
You can build a successful life while being completely unashamed of who you belong to.
I think we’re entering a new season. 🤍
