I love what I do and the privilege I have to help people as an audiologist. However, it is always nice when someone goes out of their way to show their appreciation for your care and service.
It has been a dreary day without sunshine. One of my patients bought me these beautiful flowers. Sunshine comes in different forms! Thank you, sincerely.

If you are having issues falling asleep or staying asleep, it’s important to explore what could be keeping you up. Are there any distractions that keep you up at night or getting the rest you need during the day?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that any sound above 70 decibels or more is considered noise pollution while you sleep, it could be contributing to increased levels of chronic stress and hypertension.

So—does that mean you can hear while you sleep?

Hidden hearing loss can be frustrating, especially when standard hearing tests show normal results.

Often caused by exposure to loud noise, this type of loss makes it difficult to hear in noisy environments. While hearing aids may not help, early intervention can make a difference.

If you struggle with hearing in noisy places, contact us today to schedule a hearing exam!
