✨ Important Update for Friday & Saturday Appointments ✨
At Clarity Vision Group, we are always looking for ways to provide the most comprehensive eye health care possible for our patients.
Beginning 6/1, all Friday and Saturday (it has been mandatory on Saturday for over two years) appointments will include a digital retinal image as part of your exam. This advanced imaging allows our doctors to view far more of the retina and internal structures of the eye than a standard exam alone.
These images can help detect signs of:
👁️ Eye diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration
👁️ Retinal tears or detachments
👁️ Diabetic and high blood pressure related changes
👁️ Other health concerns that may otherwise go unnoticed in early stages
Another major benefit is that these images create a permanent record of your eye health, allowing our doctors to monitor even subtle changes year after year.
Because of the detailed information provided through this technology, our doctors will only dilate patients on Fridays and Saturdays when medically necessary. We do recommend this every day because of these reasons, but now it is just mandatory on these days, and starting 1/1/2027 it will be mandatory all days of the week.
If your insurance does not cover the imaging, there will be a $30 copay.
