We’re saying goodbye to Jadze, one of our physical therapy aides, as he prepares to start physical therapy school at Hawaii Pacific University. His last day with us will be June 4th, and while we’re sad to see him go, we’re excited for him as he begins his journey toward becoming a physical therapist. We appreciate all of his hard work and the positive impact he’s had on both our team and our patients. Congratulations, Jadze, and best of luck in this next step.

Summer is the perfect time to prepare for the upcoming season. Our RunFast Program helps young athletes improve running mechanics, speed, strength, and movement efficiency while addressing mobility and stability deficits that may increase injury risk. Whether your child plays soccer, basketball, baseball, track, or another sport, better running mechanics can translate to improved performance on the field or court.

Give your athlete a head start this summer!

Many South Bay runners aren’t limited by fitness- they’re limited by mobility patterns created during long workdays.

Peak therapists combine orthopedic movement analysis with individualized treatment plans to address the actual cause of pain instead of just symptoms. Programs are designed around your diagnosis, goals, and training demands.

Common contributors we identify:
• hip flexor restriction
• glute inhibition
• ankle mobility limits
• asymmetrical loading patterns

Correcting these early helps prevent the training disruptions that slow progress later.

We’re excited to be part of the Girls on the Run 5K at Vasona Park on May 16.

Events like this help young athletes build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong relationship with movement - something we care deeply about at Peak Physical Therapy.

If your child runs, plays sports, or is increasing activity this season, we’ll be available to answer questions about:
• injury prevention
• running mechanics
• growth-related pain
• strength and mobility development

Stop by and say hello at the event.

If you run consistently, performance gains often come from fixing small inefficiencies- not increasing mileage.

Peak’s Runner’s Biomechanical Evaluation uses slow-motion video and 3D motion capture to identify subtle movement issues that affect performance and increase injury risk. The analysis includes strength, flexibility, posture, and injury-history screening- not just treadmill footage like retail gait assessments.

You’ll leave with:
• quantified movement insights
• a personalized optimization plan
• targeted strength and flexibility work tailored to your stride

Designed for runners who want fewer interruptions and more consistent training.

Whether you’re training for a race or your child is starting track season, our Run Analysis program identifies movement patterns that can lead to pain before they become injuries.

A smarter stride today means more miles tomorrow.
