When John returned for Renewal Day and saw his cup again, he was celebrating one year without alcohol and a life that had already changed tremendously. At Valley Hope of Cushing, patients and staff gathered at the flagpole on Friday morning for a moment of silence in remembrance of September 11. It was a quiet moment to honor the lives lost, the families forever changed and the courage shown in the days that followed. We remember.

For Hope, her Valley Hope cup tells the story of becoming something new. What began during treatment as a journey of acceptance, forgiveness and letting go of years of pain continues today as she grows stronger in recovery and learns to live life without the masks she once carried.
