🎃🍬 The 2026 Spearfish Market Trunk-or-Treat was a great success. 🍬🎃

Thank you to ALL who contributed to this year’s event and helped make it such a fun and memorable evening for our community. An estimated 1,000 people attended, enjoying creative costumes, festive activities and plenty of treats along the way.

A special highlight of the event was the Trunk-or-Treater Choice Awards, where trick-or-treaters voted for their favorite trunks.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and celebrated with us. We loved being part of this wonderful community event. Enjoy the photos from the evening! 💙

🚑👏 Teamwork in action

The Family Medicine Residency Clinic recently participated in Mock Code simulations, bringing together front desk staff, laboratory technicians, radiology, nursing teams, residents and attending physicians to practice responding to emergency situations.

Through obstetric and cardiac emergency scenarios, caregivers strengthened communication, teamwork and critical response skills, helping ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients when every second counts. 💙

🩺💙 We are proud to welcome Allen A. Wellman, M.D., to the Family Medicine team at Custer Hospital and Clinic.

Dr. Wellman is a Family Medicine Physician at Custer Hospital and Clinic. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Monument Health Family Medicine Residency in Rapid City and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree, summa cm laude, from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine in Vermillion. Prior to medical school, he graduated with highest honors from Black Hills State University in Spearfish with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

We're excited to have Dr. Wellman caring for patients and families in the Custer community. 💙
