🎉🍹Survey says - we had a blast at happy hour today!🍹🎉

Today we tried a new game - Family Feud - complete with the legendary buzzer and all. Residents and staff alike got into the competitive spirit and it was a hit. While no team won $20,000.00, everyone agreed they can’t wait to play again.

A special thanks to DJ, Lynnea, Tracy, and Amanda for joining in on the fun and making happy hour a success.

Now, if the buzzer happens to go missing before our next game, we’re fairly certain it will have found its way to Administrator Madison’s desk for daily use 🛎️

Last week, we celebrated with our monthly birthday party and a facility BBQ for Father’s Day!

We are loving the time in our courtyard when the weather allows.

A huge thank you to Adam for manning the grill in typical dad fashion and to the dietary staff for preparing our tasty side dishes and dessert!

🎉 BIG NEWS FROM CUSTER CARE & REHAB CENTER! 🎉

We are proud to announce that Custer Care & Rehab Center is now officially a Medicare/Medicaid Dual-Certified facility!

This milestone represents months of hard work, dedication, and commitment from our incredible team as we continue to expand the services available to our community.

We are on track to begin accepting Medicare skilled nursing stays starting July 1, 2026. This means individuals recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or hospitalization will soon be able to receive high-quality skilled nursing and rehabilitation services right here in Custer.

We want to thank our staff, residents, families, community partners, and supporters who have helped make this achievement possible. We look forward to serving even more members of our community and helping them recover close to home.

Stay tuned for additional updates as we prepare to welcome our first Medicare skilled residents!

We are so excited to share a little update on our facility courtyard. The facelift is still in progress, but today will be our first courtyard outing for the residents to see the new additions.

It is our hope that this space will be used often by residents, staff, friends and family for many years to come.

Next week, garden club will be adding more color with more flower boxes being added.🌸🌼

This morning Kallyn (with a tiny bit of help) hosted a Mothers Day tea party for the residents. Many smiles were had, tasty treats sampled, and good company enjoyed. After Kallyn’s tea, we made cards with Emily.

Kallyn and Emily made sure to have enough roses and snacks for the staff too 💕💐
