Unspoken Yoga Truths:

Sometimes as a student we don't want to do the chatarunga, or the down dog, or the child's pose, AND that is okay!

We don't have to do anything we don't want to on our mats, period!

Whether we're mentally, physically or emotionally not feeling it that day, it is our right to opt out.

Sometimes a full 60 minute savansana is calling out to us while we're in a 60 minute power class. We have the power to honor that.

Yoga teachers are a guide, a source of encouragement, a reminder to be curious, to listen, to honor our bodies.

There are no expectations, no shoulds, no judgements. Just full support of having autonomy in our practice.
