We have started a new SHOUT OUT board! If you are at the facility and have somebody who went that extra mile or who you think is doing a great job. Give them a SHOUT OUT and let them know!!
See the Business Office or Nurse Station 1 for a SHOUT OUT card. We plan to leave them up for a while then let the employee take it home afterwards. LET THE SHOUT OUTS BEGIN!!!!

Edgemont Healthcare proudly sponsors an employee’s grandchild.

Ava Toomey raised Earl, a well-balanced and quality market burrow,from a baby for 4-H. Ava had to learn how to show, control and get Earl comfortable with her commands. Along with feeding,cleaning stalls, and keeping cool.

Ava had to give a presentation for Earl to be sold at auction. By doing this she is learning the fundamentals of animal ownership and financing her future. Getting involved with these programs are both time consuming and rewarding. First hand experience for younger kids sometimes is the best, so they know the life of farming.

Ava and Leah, her sister, both raised pigs Earl and Wanda, of course we know how the song goes. They brought both pigs to the facility to show the Residents. They absolutely loved seeing them, which brought back memories of the animals that they had. We were proud to sponsor Ava and Earl!
