Meet the SLP: Alyssa Gilligan, M.S., CCC-SLP

Alyssa is a certified speech-language pathologist and the owner of Crescendo Speech Therapy, LLC. A private practice that provides services to families in the Baltimore area from her home office in Catonsville, MD. She received her masters in speech-language pathology from Towson University and completed her clinical fellowship at a prominent autism center in the area. She has been an SLP for almost 8 years and has extensive experience in the areas of early intervention, autism, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and childhood apraxia of speech. Alyssa is trained in the Hanen: More than Words program which focuses on providing parent training to families of autistic children. She is also PROMPT trained through the bridging level. Alyssa values family centered care and provides essential training to parents, caregivers, and siblings as she has an autistic brother herself and has seen firsthand how powerful including the whole family can be.

Alyssa takes a child-centered approach to therapy and places a strong emphasis on communication and learning during play.
