We ask a lot of our nurses. More than most people realize. We ask them to walk into rooms where people are frightened and in pain and make them feel safe. We ask them to remember not just the care plan but the person. The family. The history. The little things that make someone feel human when everything else feels clinical. We ask them to grieve quietly and move on to the next room. To absorb the hard days and come back tomorrow like they are not still carrying yesterday.

This week we are not just saying thank you. We are acknowledging the weight of what we ask. And we are committing to being an organization that deserves the people who show up for us every single day.

They are The Power Behind It All. And they deserve so much more than a week.
