🍻 PROST! Oktoberfest at The Homestead! 🇩🇪🥨

We brought a little taste of Bavaria to The Homestead with our very own Oktoberfest B**r Tasting! 🍺🎉

Our residents enjoyed sampling a fantastic lineup of b**rs, from traditional German brews to some of our favorite local Gulf Coast breweries! We explored different flavors, learned a little about each b**r, and, of course, shared plenty of laughs along the way.

At The Homestead, we believe there’s always something new to experience, and you’re never too old to raise a glass, try something different, and have a little fun! ❤️

Here’s to good b**r, great company, and making memories together! PROST! 🍻

What an incredible Assisted Living Week at The Homestead! 🎉 From our festive theme days to special treats, games, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments, our residents and staff had an absolute blast celebrating the wonderful community we share. 🏡❤️

💛 Thank You for Making Adopt a Grandparent Day So Special! 💛

Our hearts are full after such a wonderful Adopt a Grandparent Day at The Homestead! We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of the families, friends, and members of our community who participated, stopped by, and helped make our residents feel so loved and celebrated. 🥰

It was wonderful seeing new friendships form, smiles shared, and generations come together. Days like this remind us just how special our community is and how much a simple visit, conversation, or act of kindness can mean. 💐❤️

💛 Celebrating Grandparents Day at The Homestead 💛

Yesterday was Grandparents Day, and we couldn’t let the occasion pass without celebrating the incredible grandparents—and all those who have filled that special role—in our Homestead family. ❤️

Grandparents are storytellers, teachers, cheerleaders, advice-givers, keepers of family traditions, and a source of love that spans generations. We are so fortunate to be surrounded every day by residents who have built families, shaped lives, and created memories that will be carried forward for years to come.

Fall fun is officially kicking off at The Homestead! From September 1–11, we’re holding our Adopt a Scarecrow Fundraiser to raise money for our Activities Department—and we’d love for our families, friends, local businesses, and community partners to join in!

For just $20, you can adopt a scarecrow from our front desk, take it home, and get creative! 🎨🍁 Dress it up, give it a personality, represent your family or business, or go completely over the top—we want to see your best fall creations!

Every adoption helps support the activities, outings, celebrations, and special moments that keep our residents active, engaged, and having fun throughout the year. ❤️

🌺🌴 Aloha from The Homestead! 🌴🌺

Our Annual Homestead Luau was one for the books! 🥥🍹 We loved welcoming so many wonderful friends and family members who came out to celebrate alongside our residents and make the evening extra special.

From frozen cocktails 🍹 and authentic Polynesian cuisine 🌺 to plenty of laughter, great company, and island vibes, it was an amazing evening spent together.

A huge mahalo to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s luau such a memorable celebration! 🌴💛 We’re already looking forward to next year!

🍺🐻🎱 B**rs, Bears & Bingo: A Father’s Day to Remember! 🐻🍺🎱

Who says Father’s Day is just one day? At The Homestead, we celebrated our amazing dads all week long with great company, plenty of laughs, and a few unexpected surprises!

Our gentlemen enjoyed a fun b**r tasting, sampling a variety of brews while sharing stories and comparing favorites. The celebration continued with B**rs & Bingo, where friendly competition, cold drinks, and good times were the name of the game.

And just when we thought the week couldn’t get any more memorable… we had a special visitor stop by the property—a bear! 🐻 (Don’t worry, he didn’t stay long and didn’t join us for bingo!)

Most importantly, we spent the week honoring the fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, and father figures who have helped shape so many lives. Their wisdom, strength, humor, and stories make our community a richer place every day.

Here’s to our Homestead dads—we’re still celebrating you! 💙
