We are committed to providing the highest quality Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy to the pediatric population ages birth to 21. We are in-network with many insurance companies and we will bill all insurance as a courtesy to our patients. We accept Georgia Medicaid including Amerigroup, and Peachstate. We specialize in the Intensive Therapy Program. We also provide aquatic therapy and sensory integration therapy. is a multi-disciplinary company that is comprised of an exceptional staff of therapists and office support personnel. A weekend of learning, collaboration, and connection! 💙📚

TOTS Brookhaven welcomed 17 clinicians for a three-day course on Oral Myofunctional Therapy, led by Mary Billings and Patricia Fisher of Function Focus Academy!

With 15.5 hours of preparatory instruction and three days of in-person learning, participants explored oral motor structures, airway function, swallowing, and intervention strategies.

We were especially excited to have three TOTS speech-language pathologists and one occupational therapist participate!

We're proud to provide opportunities for continued education, connect with fellow clinicians, and grow together as a community.

Last week we had the privilege of celebrating Rett Syndrome Awareness Day at TOTS 💜

Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder that typically becomes apparent between 6 and 18 months of age and occurs primarily in girls. It can affect communication, coordination, mobility, and other areas of development.

For many families, communication is one of their greatest concerns. Theresa, a longtime member of the TOTS family and former Director of Speech, is also the mother of a daughter with Rett syndrome. She is a co-author of the Rett Syndrome Communication Guidelines, a resource now available in multiple languages and used by families and professionals around the world.

We’re proud to recognize Theresa and her family while bringing greater awareness, understanding, and support to the Rett syndrome community. 💜

Always learning, always growing. 💙

Our team recently spent time expanding their skills through the Level 2 NISE-Stim course, bringing new knowledge and techniques back into the clinic. While the Level 1 NISE-Stim course covered the basic principles of spinal electrical stimulation, therapists were able to advance their skills in this weekend's course, now applying NISE-Stim for patients with complex movement disorders (such as spasticity, and dystonia) and scoliosis.
We also had therapists from across the country join us at our TOTS Brookhaven clinic to participate! Continuing education is a big part of how our therapists grow, collaborate, and continue finding innovative ways to support the children and families we serve. ✨

Hydrocephalus is a neurological condition caused by an abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid within the brain. The condition can affect individuals at any age, and every person’s experience and journey can look different.

At TOTS, we’re proud to stand alongside the children and families in our community impacted by hydrocephalus. Raising awareness helps create a more informed and supportive community for the families we serve. 💙
