As our Director of Administration, Taylor keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes. Whether it’s solving operational issues, tackling projects around the office, or fixing the latest thing that’s decided to stop working, he’s always the person we call.
We’re thankful for everything he does for our team, our clients, and our practice.

Not every family can make it to the clinic as often as they’d like, and that’s exactly why we offer telehealth.

Whether you live too far away, have unreliable transportation, have a busy schedule, or don’t have access to specialized services in your area, telehealth can make getting the care you need much more accessible.

Our team has extensive experience providing both evaluations and treatment through telehealth, helping clients receive high-quality care from wherever they are.

Emily is now serving clients at our adult clinic location in partnership with Neubility Rehabilitation & Wellness, where she supports clients with communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing needs related to neurological and medical conditions.

She brings a compassionate, person-centered approach to therapy and is passionate about helping clients build confidence, maintain meaningful connections, and improve quality of life through functional, evidence-based care. Emily especially enjoys incorporating innovative treatment approaches and technology, including tools such as EMST and AmpCare, to provide effective, individualized therapy that supports meaningful outcomes.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, and playing with her dog. ☀️📚🐾

We are so excited to have her as part of the Avec team and cannot wait for the impact she will make within our community. 💚

We’re excited to share that Avec Therapy is partnering with , a neuro-specialty PT/OT clinic, to bring adult-focused speech therapy to Pinellas county! This is care that’s been deeply needed, and we’re grateful to step into this role alongside a team that truly values interdisciplinary collaboration. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

We’re looking for a medical SLP who feels at home with a neuro caseload, works with intention, and aligns with our values of collaboration and excellence. 🧠 Experience is ideal, but we’re also open to working with a CF with strong medical/neuro training who’s is eager to grow within a supportive, team-based environment.

This role offers flexibility (anywhere from 15-40 hours/week) and the opportunity to do meaningful, functional work — side by side with PTs and OTs who are passionate about supporting their clients’ goals.

The question we get asked most… what does Avec mean? 🤔

The name Avec comes from the French word for “with.” We chose it intentionally because we believe therapy is a journey best taken together. Our goal is to be with families through each stage of growth.

I grew up in the Zephyrhills/Dade City area, and opening Avec here was intentional. Community and family have always been important to me. My family’s roots are French, with ancestors who immigrated to Canada and later to the United States. Their focus on connection and caring for others is something I carry into my work every day. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

At Avec, we’re passionate about family-centered care, strong relationships, and meeting people where they are. Being “with” our families and clients every step of the way is at the heart of everything we do.

We’re growing in Dade City and looking to welcome a pediatric occupational therapist to our Avec Therapy team. This role is rooted in play, connection, and supporting meaningful participation in each client’s everyday life.
