Get to know Dr. Carroll :
Dr. Carroll was born and raised in the small town of Oviedo, Florida, where her love for animals began with her golden retriever, Murphy. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Biology from University of South Florida, where she also met her husband, who currently serves as a Captain in the Army. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Florida.
Dr. Carroll and her husband share their home with three rescue dogs named Charlotte, Tripp, and Pepper. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and exercising with her husband and dogs, as well as relaxing with a good book and a cappuccino in hand. She also loves creative hobbies including baking, sewing, crocheting, and throwing pottery on the wheel.
Although she is a Florida native, Dr. Carroll has fallen in love with the North Georgia mountains and is excited to serve the Dahlonega community through compassionate, personalized veterinary care. Her dedication to animal welfare is reflected not only in the care she provides to her patients, but also in her commitment to continued learning and building lasting relationships with the families she serves.
