This hands-on course focuses on assessing and addressing muscular patterns commonly associated with forward head posture, with special attention to the:

• Sternocleidomastoid (SCM)
• Pectoralis major & minor
• Upper trapezius
• Upper cervical region

We’ll work with postural assessment, palpation, therapeutic release techniques, stretching, and hands-on treatment approaches that you can incorporate into your own massage sessions.

My classes are intentionally kept small and hands-on, allowing plenty of time for practice, questions, and individual instruction.

I am happy to officially announce that I am now an NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork) Approved Continuing Education Provider through The Art of Healing by Edie, LLC.
Over the past several months, I have been working behind the scenes developing hands-on continuing education courses for massage therapists that focus on practical clinical application, postural dysfunction, headache relief, therapeutic neck work, and helping therapists “learn the language of the body.”
My first course has officially been approved, and my second course has now been submitted for approval. I am also approved through CE Broker, so completed CE hours will be properly reported for therapists who attend.
This new educational branch of my business will be offered through:

Learning the Language of the Body
I’m incredibly grateful for all the encouragement and support I’ve received throughout this process. My goal is to create hands-on educational experiences that are practical, intentional, clinically useful, and supportive to therapists in the real world of massage therapy.
Upcoming class dates and registration information will be announced soon, including the possibility of future 12-hour workshop opportunities.
