Something sweet happened in our kitchen recently! 🍎 Our wonderful residents whipped up a delicious caramel apple dip during cooking class, and the smiles in the room said it all.

Cooking classes at Willowdale Village are so much more than just making a tasty treat. They help stimulate brain function, encourage gentle physical movement, and create meaningful social connections among our residents. When familiar recipes and comforting aromas fill the room, it brings a sense of joy and nostalgia that is simply priceless. 🍏

We believe that older adults deserve enriching, engaging activities that honor their skills and spark their creativity. Letting our residents use their senses, share their favorite recipes, and enjoy the fruits of their labor is one of the many ways we nurture their overall well-being every single day.
