Is anyone else melting in this Texas heat? 🙋‍♀️🌡️ We’re starting to think the heat is making technology a little... dramatic. 😂

Earlier today, DHCHD tested a new mass text messaging system, and let's just say... it decided to have a personality of its own. Things went a little sideways.

The good news? We are NOT under an IT attack, but thank you for calling us to make sure. We do appreciate you! We're simply working through a few kinks as we roll out a system designed to make communication with our community faster and easier.

Thank you for your patience, your grace, and for laughing along with us as we get the bugs worked out. Progress isn't always perfect, but it's always worth it!

We appreciate our incredible DHCHD family more than you know. 💙 Bear with us—we promise this system is going to be a great addition once we get it behaving itself!

Get a head start on the new school year! DHCHD will be hosting a Back-to-School Immunization Clinic to help make sure your child is ready for the first day of school!

📅 Clinic Dates & Times:
• July 29: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• July 30: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• July 31: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

⚠️ Appointments are required. Patients must also have seen a Primary Care Provider (P*P) within the last year. If your child sees a P*P outside of DHCHD, please bring a copy of their most recent visit records.

📋 Please bring:
• Immunization card/record
• Insurance card, if applicable
• Completed paperwork — forms can be picked up at Dalhart Family Medicine Clinic (DFMC)

🎥 Lights, camera… healthcare! 🎬

You may notice a few extra cameras around DHCHD over the next couple of days! We are excited to be filming new promotional videos that will showcase our incredible team, the compassionate care we provide, and the many services available right here at home.

We are incredibly grateful to the Texas A&M Rural Engagement Program and The Communication Institute for making this opportunity possible through their generous grant support. Partnerships like these help rural healthcare organizations tell their story, highlight the amazing work happening every day, and connect more people with the care they need—without placing additional financial burden on our local healthcare district.
