At times it is hard to distinguish the difference between allergies and covid-19.
Here are a few ways that may help in separating the 2.
Covid can cause fever while seasonal allergies can not. Season allergies can cause itchy watery eyes while Covid doesn’t. A quick rush of symptoms such as of soar throat, body aches and fatigue are not likely signs of allergies but more so connected with Covid. It is always safer to get tested and be sure.

Although being vaccinated may help with prevention and the severity of covid-19, vaccines are not 100% effective. People who get vaccine breakthrough infections can be contagious. It is always safer to get tested if you think you may have been in contact.
