🌅 Why is your heel pain worse in the morning?
If your first few steps out of bed feel sharp, stabbing, or like you are walking on a nail, plantar fasciitis may be the reason.

This common condition happens when the thick band of tissue along the bottom of the foot becomes irritated and inflamed. It is one of the leading causes of heel pain.

⚡ Ignoring heel pain can lead to chronic discomfort and changes in the way you walk.
✅ Treatment may include stretching, supportive footwear, custom orthotics, physical therapy, or advanced therapies designed to support healing.

⚡ What is shockwave therapy?
Living with chronic foot pain can be frustrating, especially when rest, ice, stretching, or shoe changes have not brought enough relief.

🔊 Shockwave therapy is a non-surgical treatment that uses acoustic waves to help stimulate healing, support circulation, and reduce pain.

It is commonly used for conditions such as:
✔️ Plantar fasciitis
✔️ Achilles tendon problems
✔️ Chronic heel pain
✔️ Other lingering foot and ankle injuries

⏱️ Many patients appreciate that treatments are quick, require little to no downtime, and may help them avoid more invasive procedures.

Could shockwave therapy be right for you?

🚫 Ingrown toenails: do not try to dig them out.
An ingrown toenail happens when the edge of the nail grows into the surrounding skin. This can lead to pain, redness, swelling, tenderness, and sometimes infection.

⚠️ Many people try at-home fixes that can actually make the problem worse, especially if the skin is already irritated or infected.
✅ Professional treatment can often provide fast relief and help reduce the chance of the issue coming back.

If your toe hurts every time you take a step, it may be time to have it evaluated.

⚡ Heel pain is one of the most common foot complaints, and one of the most misunderstood.
A leading cause is plantar fasciitis, which happens when the thick band of tissue along the bottom of the foot becomes irritated or strained. This tissue supports the arch, but when it is overworked, small tears and inflammation can develop.
Common signs include:
✔️ Sharp heel pain with your first steps in the morning
✔️ Pain after long periods of standing or walking
✔️ Discomfort that improves with movement, then returns later
✔️ Tightness along the bottom of the foot or arch
👟 Many people try to push through the pain, but untreated plantar fasciitis can linger for months and may worsen over time.

🦶 How Long Do Custom Orthotics Last?
👨‍⚕️ Dr. Jonathan Pajouh explains that custom orthotics don't last forever. Over time, everyday wear can reduce the support they provide.

If your orthotics are worn out or your foot pain has returned, it may be time for a replacement.
