When the trend says throw a fit… the Dr. Raj Plastic Surgery team understood the assignment

Some days we’re in the OR, some days we’re seeing patients, some days we’re planning content… and some days we’re throwing a fit.

We take what we do for our patients very seriously — but we definitely don’t take ourselves too seriously. A big part of the culture we’ve built is working hard, delivering the highest level of care and results we can, and still finding time to laugh together along the way.

Because behind every consultation, surgery, treatment, and result is a team that genuinely enjoys working together… even when things get a little dramatic.

OR soundtrack: Que Calor by J Balvin + Badshah 🔥

One of the things I love about music is how it can bring completely different cultures together. I speak Spanish, so of course I’m always drawn to Latin music — and this track blends Latin and Indian influences with an EDM feel that is perfect OR energy. 🇨🇴🇮🇳

The premise in our OR is pretty simple: we like to have fun, keep the energy positive, and still hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to surgical results. That takes an amazing team, great communication…and usually a really good playlist. 😎

And yes… that’s Jenna Diaz with the perfectly timed photobomb 😂 Jenna has been working with me for 6 years and has assisted some incredible surgeons throughout her career. She knows exactly how to keep the OR organized, efficient, and running smoothly so I can stay focused on what matters most: delivering the best possible result for our patients. 🙌🏼 I am so lucky to have her.

Great surgery is never a one-person show. It takes experience, teamwork, attention to detail, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. ❤️

A young neck doesn’t always mean a defined neck.

This young patient wasn’t looking to look “younger”—the goal was to create the neck and jawline architecture that his anatomy never naturally gave him.

A deep neck lift is fundamentally different from simply performing submental liposuction. The operation addresses the deeper structures contributing to an obtuse cervicomental angle and poor jawline definition, allowing the neck to be reshaped from the inside out.

The goal:
A crisp cervicomental angle. A cleaner mandibular border. A stronger transition from the jawline into the neck.
