Amy's teenage daughter is depressed, considering taking her own life, and in need of help paying for inpatient support - Sandra is a 62-year-old widow and has lost her husband's benefits that pay for her schizophrenia medication - James lost his job and insurance, making him unable to see his psychiatrist who is helping him deal with severe anxiety that is driving him toward agoraphobia.
Texas Mental Health Resources is changing lives, but the needs pour in much faster than the resources are available to meet them. In order to ensure funds are available to meet mental health support demands as they arise, TXMHR needs a team of partners providing ongoing monthly contributions.
Here is a financially reasonable but impactful way you can be one of those partners. Will you "Buy a Brick" and provide life-changing help for those in mental health crisis?
By the end of June, TXMHR needs a wall of 300 supporters providing $25 per month. Will you join others who have already stepped up to the wall, and commit to an ongoing monthly contribution?
One person's $25 brick may not accomplish huge things, but TOGETHER we can build a complete WALL OF HOPE that redeems broken lives and ensures no one in crisis is turned away.
Each person who purchases at least one VIRTUAL brick will receive a REAL miniature display brick, engraved with the TXMHR logo and the reminder, "My Support Is Building A Wall Of Hope." Use this as a personal reminder of all you are helping to accomplish, or as a notice to others of your commitment to mental wellness.
