This was the big hernia that almost stole my husbands life literally it stole it for 7 years and almost took him out but God saw different Thank you Lord for your vision.

These are more pictures of him coming out of surgery that was him having a 45% chance of dying verses 55% chance of maybe dying with the surgery.The Doctors@ Parkland said that they were the best and they will do their very best to save his life because he is really sick but the rest was up to God and Jamie. Jamie weighed 620 lbs before he was admitted to the hospital now he ia weighing 487 lbs and counting. When I tell you God showed up and showed out. Jamie was on dialysis his kidneys were shutting down, blood pressure dropping, he couldn't eat anything and hadn't eaten anything since we came back from Mississippi in August 12, 2017 and now it was Ausgust 25, 2017. He developed a pressure ulcer the size of my fist and deep enough to hide my fist in it. He had 29 surgeries and survived everyone. He was severly malnutrition. He had 2 wound vaccums on 1 on his stomach and the other one on his backside. He was very uncomfortable and in sever pain. His feet were feeling like needles were being pricked in them. He finally got to eat by mouth 2 weeks before they transferred him to LifeCare long term care facility in November of 2017 . This was a nice place. They had a bed and tv for me as well in his room. They provided all the free good coffee and soda we could drink and snacks. They took good care of our son as well. One of the Nurses even bought us breakfast. This may not sound like much to some but they don't have a place were they provide food to people other than the patients. If you have a car you can go and purchase whatever you wanted and bring it back or purchase a plate for like 6 bucks from them but you had to order in enough time but money was and still is tight so you know how that goes. Well with all that's been happening we lost our vehicles so I would use my daughters car when I could but sometimes I would have her to drop us off. Then he checks his self out. He wasn't ready to come home. He had to go back to Parkland after being home for Thanksgiving and about a week or two he was transfered to another facility after leaving Parkland called Rehabilitation and Wellness Center of Dallas. It's a beautiful facility but the workers (not all) were very sorry and very disappointing to us. You do have some of the staff that went over and beyond to make our stay very pleasant but the ones that were pitiful made it harder on the Good Nurses and CNA'S. He will get to come home next week. His progress is good and he has been trying to do for himself which is what he needs to be doing. The struggle has been very real but hang on to Gods unchanging hand he will see you through I promise. We have witnessed the mighty works of nothing but God and he is magnificent. We are living proof. Thank you God for your grace and mercy.

My husband is doing very well now. He has went thru a lot and he is still making progress. He only has 1 wet vac on that's getting ready to come off soon. He has been doing physical therapy, getting dressed and going downstairs and even out the door to feel the Sun shine on his face. God has truly blessed us at another chance to get life right and to make better decisions.
