✏️🍎 Back-to-school season is here! And what better way to practice speech and language skills than with a silly story and a hungry old lady?! 👵📖

We had so much fun reading There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books and feeding our paper old lady all the items from the story! This activity was a fun way to work on story comprehension, sequencing, vocabulary, following directions, and expressive language while getting into the back-to-school spirit. ✏️🎒

Learning through books + play = a speech therapy win! 💙

Looking for a preschool language group that helps your child build communication skills through play? 🍎🗣️

Talking Together is designed for preschoolers with expressive, receptive, and social communication delays. Led by a licensed speech-language pathologist, this small-group program helps children grow their confidence while preparing for preschool in a fun, language-rich environment.

Children will participate in:

⭕ Circle time
🤸 Gross & fine motor play
💬 Structured language activities

Strengthening little hands through play! 🦒🦁🐘

This fun animal rescue activity is helping build the foundation for a functional grasp pattern by encouraging the use of tweezers to pick up and sort animals. Activities like this help develop the fine motor skills needed for everyday tasks like writing, cutting, buttoning, and so much more!

☀️ Summer is in full swing, but that doesn’t mean handwriting skills have to take a vacation!

Our Handwriting Groups are helping kids stay confident with writing all summer long through fun, engaging activities that build letter formation, spacing, sizing, and overall written communication skills. ✏️📚

A little practice each week can make a big difference when it’s time to head back to school!
