Ugh….now this is a gut punch reality check as a parent. Our oldest one has hit the ripe old age of 18 and she will be graduating in 2 weeks. People tell you that time flies by with kids but when you’re living in it, sometimes it seems like it crawls slowly. Well I’m going to tell you know to enjoy every moment you can because it will fly by wayyyy faster than you realize.

Happy 18th to the one who made me a proud Dad and your Mother and I are super excited to see your next stage of life as an LSU Tiger!

This has been a super tough decision that my family and I have talked about extensively and I felt the need to finally let everyone know.

I miss the wonderful and friendly people of the Philippines and the amazing food there. So much so, that I’ve decided to move my entire family to the Philippines.

I’m going to miss all the friendships we’ve made here in Texas and I’m going to miss my patients even more. We don’t have exact details yet but we will keep y’all up to date on when our move is.

I always feel honored when students ask me for a shadowing opportunity to get to see how my job is on a daily basis. It’s always fun teaching them about why I love orthodontics and showing the business side of the office that they don’t teach in school.

It’s an even bigger honor when one of your former patients, who just received their dental assisting license and is going to apply to dental school soon, calls you up and wants to shadow!

Thanks for hanging out back in the office today Jack and good luck applying to dental school soon!
