You don't have to wait for a positive pregnancy test to start supporting your fertility.

Preconception preparation is a 3 month process.

We use acupuncture during the preconception period to support:

• Menstrual cycle regulation
• Healthy ovulation
• Blood flow to the reproductive organs
• Stress regulation
• Sleep
• Overall reproductive health

And if you're preparing for IUI or IVF, this is also a great time to start.

In Chinese Medicine, fertility isn't viewed as an isolated function.

We look at the whole landscape.

Your cycle. Digestion. Sleep. Stress. Energy.

Because we're not just chasing one good day of ovulation.

We're working on the environment in which conception happens.

If you're planning to start trying by the end of the year, late summer is a beautiful time to begin preparing.

By late August in Texas, we've been dealing with heat for MONTHS.

I call it "seasonal agitation"

And sometimes you can feel it.

You're tired. Thirsty. Irritable. Headachy. Your sleep isn't great. Your motivation is gone.

In Chinese Medicine, prolonged summer heat can consume both Qi and fluids.

Translation?

The heat can be draining.

And going from 100-degree parking lots to 70-degree air conditioning all day isn't exactly a gentle environment for your body either.

This is the time of year when I start thinking about replenishing what summer has taken out of you.

Hydrate. Eat nourishing foods. Don't overdo intense exercise in peak heat. Prioritize sleep.

And if your body still feels like it's running on fumes?

Come see us.

Acupuncture can help your nervous system settle, support digestion and sleep, and help your body transition out of summer feeling a little less depleted.

Texas summer is a marathon.

You don't have to crawl across the finish line.

Every step hurts. And you're starting to wonder if this is just your life now.

Plantar fasciitis that makes mornings excruciating. Bone spurs that stab with every step. Old injuries that never quite healed. Nerve pain that shoots and tingles unpredictably. Your feet are literally your foundation—and when they're compromised, everything else suffers.

You've probably tried: orthotics, physical therapy, rest, ice, stretching routines, new shoes. Maybe some of it helped temporarily. But you're still limping through your day.
Here's what's different with acupuncture:

In Chinese Medicine, foot pain often points to Kidney and Bladder meridian imbalances. When we address the root, the pain shifts.

Most people notice improvement within the first few sessions.

This is what burnout looks like in your body. Your stress response has been on overdrive for so long that your system can't keep up anymore.

You might also be dealing with:
● Trouble waking up, even after a full night's sleep
● Afternoon crashes that demand caffeine
● Brain fog and trouble concentrating
● Cravings for salt or sugar
● Low libido
● Difficulty recovering from stress or illness

In Chinese Medicine, this shows up as Kidney deficiency—the deep reserves of your vitality are running low.

We help your body rebuild its reserves so you're not just getting by—you're actually thriving again. Don't wait until you're completely burnt out. Let's start restoring your energy now.

Call us at (972)669-1346 for a 15-minute consultation, or book online through the link in our bio.

Your stomach is running your life. And you're exhausted.

You plan your day around bathroom access. You avoid certain foods (which seems to be an ever-growing list). You deal with cramping, bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation—or the fun combo of both.

You've been diagnosed with IBS. Or maybe you haven't, but you know something is seriously off.

Here's what you might be experiencing:
● Abdominal pain or cramping (often worse after eating)
● Unpredictable bowel movements that disrupt your day
● Bloating that makes you look and feel pregnant
● Food sensitivities that seem to multiply
● Anxiety around eating or being away from a bathroom

In Chinese Medicine, IBS is often a combination of Liver Qi stagnation (stress affecting your digestion) and Spleen Qi deficiency (your digestive system is exhausted and can't keep up).

We treat this by:
● Calming your nervous system (stress is a HUGE trigger)
● Strengthening your digestive function
● Reducing inflammation and pain
● Helping your body process food without the drama

Healing after cancer treatment is often about so much more than “getting through it.” 💛

Many patients continue to experience:
✨ Neuropathy
✨ Nerve pain or nerve damage
✨ Post-surgical discomfort
✨ Scar tissue restriction
✨ Fatigue & inflammation
✨ Stress on the nervous system

Acupuncture can be an incredible supportive therapy during and after chemotherapy, surgery, and cancer recovery by helping support circulation, calming the nervous system, and encouraging the body’s natural healing processes.

We are so grateful to support patients through every phase of healing.

Thank you for trusting us with your care.

PCOS has officially been renamed PMOS — Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome — and honestly, this new name is a much more accurate reflection of what women are actually experiencing. ✨

For years, the term “PCOS” caused confusion because many women diagnosed with the condition don’t actually have ovarian cysts.

PMOS is now recognized as a complex hormonal + metabolic condition that can impact:
• Ovulation
• Fertility
• Insulin sensitivity
• Weight
• Skin
• Energy
• Mood
• Long-term metabolic health

This shift matters because women deserve care that addresses the FULL picture — not just their ovaries.

In our clinic, we use an integrative approach that may include:
🌿 Acupuncture
🌿 Traditional Chinese Medicine
🌿 Nutrition & lifestyle support
🌿 Stress regulation
🌿 Sleep optimization
🌿 Evidence-informed supplements

In TCM, no two PMOS patients are exactly alike. That’s why individualized treatment matters so much.

The goal is not just symptom management — it’s helping the body move back toward balance and supporting overall hormone health naturally. 💛

Your jaw is locked. Or clicking. Or aching so badly you can't chew without wincing.

In Chinese Medicine, the jaw is where we often hold unexpressed anger, frustration, and stress. When the Liver and Gallbladder meridians (which run through the jaw) are out of balance, TMJ symptoms flare.

Acupuncture helps by:
● Releasing tension in the jaw muscles and fascia
● Calming the nervous system (to reduce clenching)
● Addressing the emotional stress that's being stored in your body
● Improving circulation and reducing inflammation

Here’s a clean, nourishing version that tastes like a Reese’s egg but with better ingredients:

🥜🍫 Healthy Peanut Butter Chocolate Easter Eggs

Ingredients (filling):
• 1 cup natural peanut butter
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 1/3 cup collagen peptides
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• Pinch of sea salt

Chocolate coating:
• 1–1½ cups dark chocolate chips
• 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
• Flaky sea salt for topping

⸻

Instructions

1. Make the filling
• In a bowl, mix peanut butter, maple syrup, collagen, vanilla, and salt.
• Stir until thick and dough-like.
If it’s too soft, add a little more collagen. Too firm? Add a tiny splash of maple syrup.

2. Shape the eggs
• Scoop about 1–2 tbsp and form into egg shapes.
• Place on a parchment-lined tray.
• Freeze for 20–30 minutes (this step is key so they don’t fall apart when dipping).

3. Melt the chocolate
• Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil using a double boiler or microwave (20–30 sec intervals, stirring each time).

4. Dip
• Using a fork, dip each frozen egg into the chocolate.
• Let excess drip off, then place back on parchment.

5. Finish
• Sprinkle with flaky sea salt while chocolate is still wet.
• Chill in fridge until set (about 10–15 minutes).

⸻

Optional upgrades
• Add 1–2 tbsp cocoa powder to the filling for a deeper chocolate flavor
• Mix in crushed nuts or chia seeds for texture
• Swap peanut butter for almond or cashew butter if needed

⸻

Storage
• Keep in the fridge up to 1 week or freeze for longer (they’re amazing slightly frozen)

Warm lighting. Soft music. A table that's more comfortable than most people expect.

I designed this space to feel like the opposite of a sterile medical office. Because healing happens when your nervous system feels safe.

When you come in, you're not just getting needles. You're getting:
● Time to actually be heard
● A treatment plan that makes sense for YOUR body
● 25-30 minutes deep rest (which most of us desperately need)
● Someone who actually understands what you're going through

If you've been on the fence about trying acupuncture, let me make it easy for you.

Your acupuncture visits: We talk. I listen. We make a plan. You rest. You leave feeling better than when you walked in.
