Dr. Manning is now offering Dry Needling at Manning Wellness!

I’ll admit it, I initially thought dry needling was basically just putting a needle into a trigger point. I’ve now learned it’s SO much more than that.

Dry needling can help release a trigger point or focal muscle spasms but can also activate nerve receptors to stimulate pain, relief, decrease inflammation, and increase blood flow deep within the tissue. It can be especially helpful for persistent muscle tightness, neck and shoulder tension, low back pain, sports related, soreness, recurring muscle, knots, and plantar fasciitis.

I’m offering both traditional and electrical dry needling, depending on what makes sense for you and what we’re treating.

It’s another tool I can use, sometimes on its own and often alongside chiropractic care, massage, acupuncture or other treatments to help you get a better result.

👟Saw a commercial this morning for “slip-in” shoes/sandals that don’t require you to bend down.

My question is, why?
Why can’t people bend down?
Why is a company spending millions on advertising for people who can’t move freely?

My solution, if you can’t bend down and you need slip-in shoes exclusively, is to come in and address the root of the problem. Unlock what’s stuck, improve balance, increase flexibility, and have the freedom to choose whatever shoes you want!
