Melanoma Monday is a reminder that skin cancer doesn't always look the way you expect it to. It doesn't always show up in sun-exposed areas. It doesn't always look like a dark, obvious mole. And it doesn't always give you a lot of warning.

What it does do is respond incredibly well to early treatment. Patients whose melanoma is caught early have a 99% survival rate. That number is why annual skin checks matter. That number is why we do what we do.
