Humility is arguably the most important quality in medicine. Uncertainty abounds every day, it is our job to limit this uncertainty the best we can when making decisions for patients. Trust me, going to always will make you feel better when unsure of the next step.

No one goes through training alone. Medicine is the most team sport profession out there. Nurses, PCTs, and other ancillary support staff are literally angels from heaven. Literally thousands of people will help you along the way if you let them by dropping your ego at the door.
๐. ๐๐ฐ๐๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐.
Striving for perfection, although unattainable, leads to excellence. Be detailed oriented, and the big stuff will seem less scary.

We are no better than anyone else. Be polite and appreciate the person that holds the door open for you. Itโs incredible how small acts of kindness can completely change your day.

Burnout is real! But from the getgo, realize that only you are responsible for your mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. No one will do it for you. It takes intentional and mindful effort to put in the time and make decisions for your own self-care. In doing so, you will take much better care of your patients.
Good luck yโall, you got this ๐๐ผ!
