I’ve worked with thousands of clients to support steadier post‑meal blood sugar, and GOOD IDEA is a simple tool that can be added to a mealtime routine. It’s a lightly sparkling water with a patented blend of amino acids and chromium picolinate. Clinical studies have shown it can help reduce the post‑meal blood sugar rise when you drink 1/3 before eating and finish the rest with your meal.

Save this, pass it along to someone who might appreciate the reminder, and grab a GOOD IDEA if you want a simple, science‑backed way to support steadier post-meal blood sugar!

Comment BEST for more dietitian-approved food guides, grocery finds, and healthy swaps.

Pasta itself isn’t “bad” but different varieties can affect your energy, hunger, and blood sugar differently. Traditional refined pasta is lower in fiber and digests more quickly, while whole grain, legume-based, and high-protein pastas provide more fiber and protein to help slow digestion and keep you satisfied longer. In fact, legume based pastas without any added starch are a fabulous choice for those looking to improve insulin resistance. Look for brands like Kaizen, Explore Cuisine, and Palmini.

That doesn’t mean you have to ditch regular pasta forever. If it’s your favorite, simply pairing it with a source of protein, healthy fats, and vegetables can create a more balanced meal that supports steadier blood sugar and greater fullness.

The best pasta for you is the one you’ll actually enjoy and can build into a balanced plate, not the one with the trendiest label.

Save this for your next grocery trip

5 things I will not do as a women’s dietitian ➡️

If your insulin and ferritin are off, cutting calories just adds stress to a system that’s already struggling. Fix the mechanism, not the math.

Tracking teaches you to distrust your body’s signals. I’d rather teach you how to build a plate that keeps your blood sugar steady without a single number logged.

Most are loaded with added sugar and underdosed on the actual nutrient. If you’re going to supplement, it needs to actually do something.

A meal plan tells you what to eat this week. Understanding WHY you pair foods in a thoughtful matter makes it sustainable so you know what to eat for the rest of your life

Because I’m a mom and an expert. Fatigue is data. It’s your body telling you something specific is off, and most women get sent home with zero investigation into what that is.

If you want some usable resources comment tools and I’ll send all my best over.
