A special thank you to Mikey and his wonderful family for making the three-day drive from Oregon so he could begin treatment for his glioma with our team.

Mikey has been the sweetest, bravest boy, and we couldn't be happier to have met him. We are also grateful to his sister, Janet, who has been right by his side offering lots of love and support.

Thank you for trusting us with Mikey's care. It's an honor to be part of his journey, and we are here to support him and his family every step of the way. 💙

Meet Bailey, a 12-year-old pointer mix who came to us in February after being diagnosed with a grade III nasal chondrosarcoma.

Bailey enrolled in our monthly PULSAR trial, where he received five radiation therapy treatments tailored to his individual needs. Over the course of treatment, Bailey experienced significant tumor regression, and his treatment plan was adapted twice to reflect his progress, further showcasing the impact of personalized cancer care.

It has been a privilege to care for Bailey throughout his journey. We'll miss his sweet smile, gentle spirit, and happy tail wags around the clinic, but we're so grateful to have been part of his story.

Wishing you and your family all the very best, Bailey. 🐾💙

Meet Sabre.💙

Sabre traveled all the way from Houston with his loving family after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He came to us for a diagnostic workup and CT simulation, and we're excited to begin a treatment plan that includes PULSAR radiation and immunotherapy.

Through it all, Sabre was the sweetest, bravest boy. He soaked up plenty of hugs, kisses, and treats, reminding us why we love what we do every day.

Please join us in cheering Sabre on as he begins his treatment journey. 🐾

Update on Baby Girl! In April, we shared Baby Girl’s story—a 12-year-old German Shepherd bravely battling squamous cell carcinoma of the left maxilla (upper jawbone). She became the first patient at VROC to receive online adaptive PULSAR as part of our clinical trial and was randomized to receive monthly treatment.

We’re proud to share that Baby Girl is now our most recent graduate! 🩷

Today we celebrate Finn, a 6-year-old dachshund mix, as he graduates from our PULSAR clinical trial! Following a diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma in his temporal region, Finn completed five radiation treatments on a monthly schedule, with adjustments made along the way to best support his care.

Finn quickly became a favorite of our team, receiving plenty of love, hugs, and kisses at every visit. While we will miss seeing his sweet face around the clinic, we look forward to following the next phase of his journey and monitoring the positive outcomes of his treatment. Congratulations, Finn! 💙
