Today is North Texas Giving Day!

This morning, Kate and Ryan had the privilege of joining Andreas’ family in making a donation to The Winston School in his honor. We were grateful to help facilitate the gifts and to play a small part in supporting a school that meant so much to Andreas and his family.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful tribute.

If you’d like to support The Winston School this North Texas Giving Day, you can make a donation here:

Happy to our Chief Happiness Officer, Star! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Star, like many dogs, brings happiness and snuggles to her owners, staff members, and people within our community. However she goes beyond that too! She is our certified grief therapy dog that brings comfort and calm to families who are grieving the loss of a loved one. She is truly amazing, and we think she is a true star! 🌟

Meet Star, our certified grief therapy dog who provides comfort during tough times, ensuring families feel supported and connected through their loss.

🚨SCAM ALERT FOR VETERANS!⚠️

According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), there are fraudulent postcards being sent out to veterans stating that veterans or their spouse may qualify for additional monthly benefits through something called the “Veterans Savings Program.” THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT EXIST!

If you get a postcard like this:

- Don’t respond. Legitimate VA communications will not pressure you to respond immediately or give sensitive information over the phone.

- Contact the VA directly if you have questions about your benefits. Always use a number you know is real — never the one in the postcard. Start with the VA Benefits Hotline at 1-800-827-1000.

- Spread the word. Scammers typically don’t just contact one person. Sharing this advice can help others in your community spot and avoid the scam. Sign up for email updates to get the latest on scams like this one at MilitaryConsumer.gov.

For more information, please look at the FTC's website:
