Before these walls get painted over, I wanted to do one last thing.
We wrote Scripture into the walls.
As many of you know, the journey to opening Amplify Life Center has taken much longer than I ever expected. There have been delays, setbacks, unexpected turns, and more lessons in patience than I ever planned on learning.
So before the walls were finished, I reached out to many of the people who have supported, encouraged, and prayed for me throughout this process and asked them to share some of their favorite Bible verses.
Then I wrote those verses directly into the walls.
Some of the verses brought comfort.
Some brought conviction.
Some brought encouragement.
And some were simply meaningful to the person who shared them.
Together, they became part of the foundation of this space.
Soon they’ll be covered by paint and no one will know they’re there.
But that’s what a foundation is.
It’s not meant to be seen.
It’s meant to support everything built on top of it.
When I look around this office, I don’t just see drywall and construction. I see the prayers, encouragement, and support that carried me through a season that was far harder and far longer than I expected. My prayer is that what was poured into this place long before it opened will overflow into the lives of the people who will one day be cared for here.
These verses may soon disappear from sight, but they’ll always be part of Amplify’s story.
