Black women were created to bring forth life, not to be disproportionately lost while doing so.
When a mother dies, a family changes. A child grows up without the embrace that was meant to guide them. A community loses wisdom, love, and legacy.
This is more than a statistic. It is a call to awaken our hearts.
Prayer without action leaves a gap. Compassion without advocacy leaves a void. Faith calls us to stand, to listen, to educate, and to care for one another.
Every mother deserves to be seen.
Every voice deserves to be heard.
Every birth deserves dignity.
Every life is sacred.
May we become the generation that refuses to accept preventable loss as normal. May we honor the Creator by protecting those entrusted with bringing new life into the world.
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.” — Proverbs 31:8
🖤 Because birthing work is sacred work.
