We are here to take care of your medical needs whether they be family practice, urgent care or occupational in nature. Our providers and staff are eager to assist patients in a friendly efficient manner. Neighborhood Medical Center's director is also the chief clinician and owner. Dr. Martin Mc Elya's position as a clinician and director allows him to manage patients and be involved in the day to day operation of his practice. This means there is a continual staff emphasis on excellent patient care. Our facility is conveniently located in the north Dallas area, just drive right up to the front door. 💉 October is the sweet spot for your flu shot.

Not September, when protection can fade before the season actually peaks. Not December, when you've probably already been exposed to something.

Here's the logic:

✅ It takes about two weeks to build protection
✅ Flu activity in Texas usually climbs through late fall and winter
✅ Getting it before Thanksgiving travel puts you ahead of it
✅ You can get it alongside other vaccines you're due for

Don't put it off if you're over 65, pregnant, managing asthma, diabetes, or a heart condition, or living with someone who is.

And yes, you can still catch the flu after a flu shot. What changes is how sick you get and how likely you are to end up in a hospital bed.

💛📄 Did you know we offer adoption physicals?

If you're in the middle of an adoption, you already know the paperwork is its own full-time job. The medical exam is one more box, with its own form, its own requirements, and usually its own deadline nobody told you about until now.

We can handle that part.

Bring whatever forms your agency gave you, we'll complete them properly, and if anything needs bloodwork it happens here instead of becoming another appointment somewhere else.

Open seven days a week, which helps when you're already juggling home visits and social worker schedules.
