We’re excited to welcome Dr. Colby Wollenman to Texas Orthopaedic Associates! 🎉

Dr. Wollenman is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and advanced knee, shoulder, and hip care, including complex and revision knee surgery, shoulder instability and reconstruction, hip arthroscopy, and fracture care.

A former Michigan State basketball player, Dr. Wollenman completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center followed by an arthroscopy and sports medicine fellowship at the renowned Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado.

Dr. Wollenman will see patients at our Plano office and is now accepting new patients. We’re thrilled to have him on the TOA team!

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families forever changed, and the extraordinary courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Twenty-five years later, we honor their memory and reflect on the strength, unity, and compassion that brought our nation together.

Medicare patients: your voice matters.

A proposed Medicare payment change for 2027 could make it more difficult for healthcare providers to perform certain medically necessary procedures—such as injections—on the same day as an office visit.

If implemented, some patients could be required to return for a separate appointment, potentially resulting in additional copays or coinsurance, transportation expenses, delayed treatment, and added inconvenience for patients and their families.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is accepting public comments through September 14, 2026.
