Recovery is rarely a straight line, but there are certain milestones patients look forward to along the way. For many, the two-week mark is when they begin feeling more comfortable, more mobile, and more confident in their recovery.

In Part 2 of her journey, our patient checks in two weeks after her abdominoplasty and bra-line lift following a 200-pound weight loss. While she still has healing ahead of her, she is already noticing improvements in her strength, comfort, and overall quality of life.

One of the most important things to remember after body contouring surgery is that feeling better and being fully healed are not the same thing. Even when patients start feeling like themselves again, it is important to continue following post-operative instructions and allow the body the time it needs to recover properly.

Losing 200 pounds is an incredible accomplishment, but for many patients, excess skin is the final hurdle in their transformation.

In Part 1 of her story, our patient shares her experience just one week after a tummy tuck and bra-line lift. While recovery is still in the early stages, her perspective is a reminder that surgery is only one part of the journey. Proper nutrition, hydration, walking, and following post-op instructions all play an important role in healing.

Stay tuned for her next update.

Male breast reduction isn't a one-size-fits-all procedure. Some patients primarily have excess fatty tissue, while others have firmer glandular tissue or excess skin that also needs to be addressed. The surgical approach depends on the severity of the condition and the patient’s anatomy.

The goal is typically a flatter, more natural chest contour while maintaining a masculine appearance. Curious if this procedure is right for you? Call our office at 972-298-6641 to set up a consultation.

These photos were taken immediately after an arm lift procedure while the patient was still in the operating room. One reason patients appreciate this procedure is that the improvement in contour is visible right away.

You'll notice that the incision appears darker and more noticeable at this stage. That is completely expected immediately after surgery. As healing progresses, the scar will continue to mature, soften, and gradually fade over the course of several months to a year or more.

It's also important to remember that swelling is still present in these photos and will continue to improve during recovery. While the final result takes time, the reduction in excess skin and improved arm shape can be seen immediately.

Gynecomastia is a common condition that results in excess breast tissue in males. It can affect confidence, activity level, and overall comfort, even in patients who are otherwise healthy and active.

Surgery removes the excess tissue and improves chest contour, but for many patients, the benefit goes beyond appearance alone. Feeling more comfortable in clothing, during exercise, or simply in day-to-day life is often a significant part of the improvement.

If this is something that's been bothering you, give our office a call at 972-298-6641 to schedule a consultation.

A facelift improves loose skin and deeper facial support structures, but it does not correct every sign of aging. Depending on the concern, procedures such as laser resurfacing, fat grafting, fillers, or eyelid surgery may be recommended alongside or instead of a facelift. The key is matching the treatment to the actual problem rather than expecting one procedure to correct everything.

A consultation helps determine which combination of treatments may provide the most natural and balanced result. Link in bio to schedule.

Men’s Health Month is a good reminder that many aesthetic concerns men experience are more common than they realize. Many male patients come in looking for improvements in body contour, confidence, and overall comfort, especially in areas that don't respond well to diet and exercise.

Treatment plans are individualized based on anatomy, goals, and lifestyle. The objective is usually not a dramatic change, but a more balanced and natural appearance.

We’ll be sharing additional content focused on men’s procedures and concerns throughout the month. Stay tuned! 🔔

This 50-year-old patient came in after significant weight loss following a LAP-BAND procedure, which is a type of weight loss surgery that places an adjustable band around the upper portion of the stomach to help limit food intake.

Although she had done well with her weight loss, she still had stubborn areas of fat in the abdomen and flanks that did not improve the way she wanted with diet and exercise alone.

Liposuction was performed to reduce those areas and improve the overall contour. Procedures like this are not designed for major weight loss, but rather for refining areas that tend to retain fat despite healthy lifestyle changes.

We are currently offering a $500 discount on liposuction when treating 2 or more areas. If you are considering body contouring, this may be a good time to schedule a consultation and review your options. Link in bio to book. 🔗

A prior nasal injury can affect both appearance and function over time. In this case, our patient developed worsening breathing symptoms as he got older due to a deviated septum.

We decided to go with a septoplasty to improve airflow, along with a rhinoplasty to address the dorsal hump and overall contour. The goal was to restore function while creating a nose that fits the patient’s facial structure.

These after photos are at 60 days post-op. Swelling is still present, and the result will continue to refine over the coming months.
