The DFW First Responder Support Network was excited to have Jesse Tucker with Carencia Mental Health present “Fueling First Responders: Metabolic + Mental Health."

It was such an enlightening presentation featuring a discussion on the connection between metabolic health and mental wellness.

Thank you to the Grand Prairie Wellness Program with Courtney Reynolds and Emily Mourik for the work they do and for hosting this meeting at the Grand Prairie Public Safety Building.

Every two years Lily and I have to pass a recertification with to continue doing Animal Assisted Therapy. This year we had the most incredible trainer, Jon Van D**e with , who actually got Lily to a complex rating! The highest she's ever received! So proud of our sweet girl!!!

We kick off the First Responder Family Forum tonight at 8pm!

TONIGHT'S TOPIC: How do we help cultivate a healthy environment as a FR family?

I work often with Dallas Fire and Rescue and many First Responders and their family members throughout the DFW area. After multiple losses and deaths by su***de, we realized there was a need for the families and loved ones of First Responders to come together for healing support and to learn and grow.
