TX-06 Ambassador Donna Green's advocacy continues, with her fourth letter to the editor this month now published in the Mirror in support of the Alzheimer's Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act.

The bipartisan legislation would create a pathway for Medicare coverage of FDA approved blood-based biomarker tests that can detect Alzheimer's disease before symptoms appear, giving individuals and families more time to plan, access care, and explore treatment options.

Our Advocacy Team is growing! Hear from Tanmayee, of TX-04, share her why, "Because of my work as a CNA and my involvement in cognitive decline research, I have seen the effects of Alzheimer's disease. These experiences inspired me to advocate for greater awareness and stronger support systems so that the people I care for, and others can live with greater dignity and quality of life." Big shoutout to TX-06 Ambassador Donna Green! Her letter to the editor supporting the Alzheimer's Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act was recently published in Jacksonville Progress Newsroom.

In her letter, Donna urged Congressman Rep. Jake Ellzey of FDA approved blood tests that can detect Alzheimer's before symptoms appear. Earlier detection helps individuals and families access care, plan ahead, and connect with treatment options sooner.
