Teen Su***de Prevention Awareness

Sometimes the signs are loud. Sometimes they’re subtle. And sometimes, the teenager who seems “fine” is carrying more than we realize.

As parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches, and trusted adults, we don’t have to have all the answers. We just need to be willing to notice, listen, ask, and stay connected.

Talking about su***de does NOT put the idea in a teenager’s head. In fact, asking directly can give them the opportunity to say, “I’m not okay,” and get the support they need. 💛

Teen Lifeline shares important facts, warning signs, and practical ways we can support the teenagers in our lives.

Take a few minutes to learn the signs. Start the conversation. Check in, even when they say they’re “fine.” And remember: you don’t have to be a mental health professional to be someone’s safe place.

Breaking the silence can start with one simple conversation. 💙

Sometimes supporting someone doesn’t mean having the perfect words. It means asking, listening, staying present, and reminding them they don’t have to face hard things alone.

This Su***de Prevention Month, let’s be intentional about checking in, creating safe spaces for honest conversations, and showing up for the people around us. Because a simple “How are you really doing?” can open a door that someone may desperately need. 🫶🏼

Let’s change the narrative. Let’s break the silence. Let’s be there. 💙

Change the narrative. Hold on to each other. 💛🫶

September is Su***de Prevention and Awareness Month, and while we’re talking about supporting our communities, we also want to shine a little light on the people who spend their days supporting everyone else.

The therapists.
The case managers.
The crisis teams.
The mental health workers.
The “I’ve got you” people. 💛

This month, Trias Coordinated Services is giving back to the helpers across Abilene & DFW with a little self-care love.

Because let’s be honest… the people who are constantly reminding everyone else to practice self-care sometimes need a reminder, too.

We’ll be putting together self-care packs for mental healthcare and crisis management professionals who pour so much of themselves into caring for our community.

A little appreciation. A little self-care. A whole lot of we see you. 🫶🏽

Let’s keep changing the narrative, checking in, reaching out, and reminding each other that none of us are meant to do this alone.

The helpers deserve to be cared for, too. 💛

Community, much like Legos, doesn’t come built for us.

It’s built when we choose to show up, come together, and create something meaningful.

We had the sweetest Saturday morning with and Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii (Little Elm, TX) at their Brick Masters Event!

We loved connecting with our community, enjoying some good coffee, and watching young minds create and bring people together.

We’re so grateful for opportunities to show up, connect, and build something special together. Because the best communities aren’t built overnight… they’re built brick by brick. 🧱

Trias Coordinated Services hosted our very first Coffee & Connect community meetup at Bad Ass Coffee in Little Elm, and we had such a wonderful time!

We enjoyed good coffee, meaningful conversations, and the opportunity to connect with members of our community in a relaxed and welcoming space.

We believe that sometimes, the simplest conversations can create meaningful connections. 🤍
