Meet Tanner Smith, a 27-year-old South Carolina native, autism advocate, and fan favorite from Netflix's Love on the Spectrum US Seasons 2 and 3!

Tanner is on a mission to “spread joy all around the world!” Through his positive outlook, advocacy, and personal experiences, Tanner inspires others to recognize that a diagnosis does not define a person's potential.
As part of the Abilities Without Limits Conference & Expo, Tanner will share his journey, experiences, and perspective on living a joyful and meaningful life.

Join us for a FREE Community Resource Fair held in conjunction with the Abilities Without Limits Conference & Expo!

This free event provides an opportunity for families, caregivers, educators, individuals with disabilities, and other community members to connect with local organizations and learn about valuable programs, services, and resources available throughout our community.
Attendees are welcome to visit participating resource and vendor booths, ask questions, gather information, and discover supports for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Please note:
The Free Resource Fair is open to the community at no cost from 10:00–11:30 AM. Admission to the Resource Fair does not include access to conference sessions, the keynote presentation, meals, or other conference activities. Separate conference registration is required to participate in the full Abilities Without Limits Conference & Expo.

One of our main goals is to provide an opportunity for families, caregivers, educators, individuals with disabilities, and other community members to connect with local organizations and learn about valuable programs, services, and resources available throughout our community and the surrounding area.

A great school year starts with more than pencils, notebooks, and a new backpack!

Therapists Megan, Will, and Hannah from Anna Shaw Children’s Institute share five simple ways parents and caregivers can help children start the school year feeling supported and prepared, from creating predictable routines and sensory plans to staying connected with teachers and celebrating effort, not just grades.

And one important reminder for parents and caregivers: take care of yourself, too. ❤️

A little structure, positivity, and communication can go a long way toward making this a great school year for everyone.

The Abilities Without Limits Conference & Expo is a collaborative event designed to empower, educate, and connect individuals who support people with differing abilities across the lifespan. This conference brings together parents and caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, therapists, young adults, self-advocates, and community members for a day of learning, networking, and resource sharing.

The Abilities Without Limits Conference & Expo is a collaborative event designed to empower, educate, and connect individuals who support people with differing abilities across the lifespan. This conference brings together parents and caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, therapists, young adults, self-advocates, and community members for a day of learning, networking, and resource sharing.

Formerly known as the North Georgia Autism Conference, this event has evolved in response to the voices of our community. Families, caregivers, educators, and providers expressed the need for a conference that supports and celebrates individuals of all abilities and developmental differences. While continuing to serve and support the autism community, the Abilities Without Limits Conference expands its reach to include children and adults with developmental differences and delays across the lifespan. Together, we are creating a more inclusive space for learning, connection, resources, and empowerment for every individual and every family.

This year, our conference will be held on Friday, October 30th at the Dalton Convention Center from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We are excited to welcome Tanner Smith, self-advocate, best known for his appearance on Love on the Spectrum: US Season 2.
