Sometimes, instead of immediately reaching for Tylenol, Dr. Dan will dab a little lavender + peppermint essential oil on his temples and just under his nose. For him, it can help encourage the body to relax — and sometimes the headache fades right along with it.

Not saying it works every time or replaces medical treatment… but it may be a simple, natural option worth trying for occasional tension headaches.
