We are excited to welcome Heather Sandoval to the Nova Star Medical Clinic team as our newest Medical Assistant!
Heather is currently a student at Berry College, where she is majoring in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences and pursuing double minors in Chemistry and Creative Writing. In addition to her studies, she conducts ecophysiological aquatic research, focusing on fish health and disease through blood and mucus analysis. Her research has strengthened her skills in laboratory techniques, critical thinking, and evidence-based problem solving.
Heather’s long-term goal is to attend medical school and study internal medicine, where she hopes to combine her love for science with her passion for providing compassionate care to children and their families. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients.
