Follow us on Instagram at whites.pediatrics 🩺 White. We Promise To:

Serve all patients.

Our staff of qualified, God-fearing, concerned individuals seek to maintain a divine recognition of each person's uniqueness by committing to provide superior, confidential health care in a timely, efficient manner, placing the care of the pediatric patient above our own personal gain. We will value the importance of our patients and their families by promoting the optimum physical, mental, emotio

nal and spiritual wellbeing of each through our commitment to excellence and continued personal growth. White's Pediatrics was founded in 1981 as Dalton Pediatric Medical Center by Dr. Jeffeory H. Due to expansion and growth over the years, Dalton Pediatric Medical Center has grown into White's Pediatrics, with three separate facilities in Dalton, Chatsworth, and Calhoun. The Dalton facility also houses a Well Clinic for patients who need routine health checks, and an Urgent Care Clinic that provides emergency after-hours care. Dr. White first implemented a paperless Electronic Medical Record keeping system called MedInformatix in his office in 1995. Today, White's Pediatrics is proud to be one of only a handful of medical offices in the area to use such a sophisticated and state-of-the-art computer system. At White's Pediatrics, all patient records are stored and retrieved electronically. Offer discounted fees for patients who qualify. Not deny services based on a person's race, color, s*x, national origin, disability, religion or s*xual orientation. Accept insurance, including Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

Parents — help other families out!

The AAP recommends swim lessons as one layer of protection against drowning, and many children may be ready to start lessons as early as age 1. Water safety education can make such a big difference. ☀️

We’d love for everyone to share their favorite local swim programs in the comments. Whether it’s swim lessons, ISR, private instructors, or community pools, your recommendation could help another family find the right fit this summer.

The AAP recommends swim lessons as a layer of protection against drowning. Many kids will be ready to start lessons at age one. Here are a few things to keep in mind while choosing a program:

1. Are the instructors trained and certified through a nationally recognized learn-to-swim curriculum? Are there lifeguards on duty who have current CPR and First Aid certifications?

2. Do they teach good safety habits in, on and near water?

3. Do they teach your child what to do if they end up in the water unexpectedly?

4. Do they offer adapted aquatics for children with special health needs and developmental disabilities?
